Who we are.

We are a group of padel enthusiasts who started Padel New Zealand in 2020.

Padel New Zealand was founded in 2020 by a group of passionate padel enthusiasts, with the goal of introducing and growing the sport across Aotearoa.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, formally registered as Padel New Zealand Society Incorporated, and proudly serve as the national governing body for padel in New Zealand - recognised by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and Sport NZ.

Our role is to promote, support, and educate to help grow padel throughout the country, ensuring more Kiwis can discover and enjoy this exciting sport.

Our mission.

We want to bring padel to everyone.

Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world — and for good reason. It’s social, fun, easy to learn, and suitable for all ages and skill levels.

At Padel New Zealand, our mission is to introduce, promote, and grow the sport across the country by supporting clubs, coaches, and players. We’re committed to making padel accessible to everyone — from first-time players to future professionals.

Our long-term vision is to run regular national tournaments on home soil and one day proudly send New Zealand teams representing us in global competitions.
