Who we are.

We are a group of padel enthusiasts who started Padel New Zealand in 2020.

Padel New Zealand was founded in 2020 by a group of passionate padel enthusiasts with the goal of introducing and growing the sport across Aotearoa.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, formally registered as Padel New Zealand Society Incorporated, and proudly serve as the national governing body for padel in New Zealand - recognised by Sport NZ and affiliated with the International Padel Federation (FIP).

Our role is to promote, support and educate to help grow padel throughout the country, ensuring more Kiwis can discover and enjoy the sport.

Our mission.

Growing padel across Aotearoa.

To establish and grow the sport of padel in New Zealand by increasing its visibility and supporting its development through clubs, participants, coaches and officials.

Padel New Zealand works alongside affiliated clubs, players and partners to help build a sustainable ecosystem for the sport across Aotearoa.

We aim to support opportunities for participation at all levels — from social play through to competitive pathways — while promoting the values of inclusion, community and enjoyment that make padel unique.
