LEVEL 1 REFEREES

Padel New Zealand Level 1 Referees have successfully completed the Padel New Zealand Level 1 Referee Qualification, including the theoretical assessment and practical refereeing requirements.

Level 1 Referees support club, sanctioned and other domestic competitions around New Zealand by providing rules support, assisting with disputes and other on-court situations when required, and actively officiating selected matches where appropriate.

The referees listed below have completed all qualification requirements and hold current Padel New Zealand Level 1 Referee accreditation.Who is it for?

The qualification is designed for people who already have a reasonable understanding of padel and would like to become more involved in supporting the sport, through refereeing.

You don't need previous refereeing experience, but you should be familiar with padel, understand how matches are played and be willing to learn and apply the rules fairly and consistently
